Average Calculation

here are two methods for calculating the average shown on the consolidate screen and on an individuals assessment report.

Average of Assessors – The score for each assessor is added up and divided by the no of assessors who gave the individual a valid score.

Assessors Scores + Self Assessment – The assessee’s self assessment is included in the average calculation as if they were an Assessor.

Ability to Categorise Competences by Class

AssessMe has a standard facility for describing the type of competence i.e. Personal, Interpersonal, Skill, Task etc. Although the standard list of types can be edited as required some organisations have requested a second method for classifying competences. The "class" feature is optional and has been included for their benefit.

Examples of classes being used:

  1. To help distinguish between Managing Resources and Managing Operations.
  2. Analysis of interpersonal relationships i.e. Legal professionals - Dealing with clients, dealing with barristers, dealing with the court service.
